Miguel Rincón

Miguel Rincón was born in 1979. He plays the early family plucked instruments such as renaissance lute, barroque lute, barroque guitar, vihuela, chitarrone and archlute, being a member in important ensembles next to wich performs a lavor issues rescue developing the early music towards an historic straight line and new ways as improvisation.
He studied at the High school music Manuel Castillo with Juan Carlos Rivera into the plucked instruments speciality, where gets the best marks ending with honour qualification. Later became a master´s degree with Xavier Díaz Latorre at Esmuc (The High school music of Cataluña) and another master degree at Zürich (Zürcher Hochschule der Kunste) to receive lessons with Eduardo Egüez. He worked for two years as plucked instruments professorship at Professional conservatory of music from Salamanca. He actually is a Freelance music player living in Basel, Switzerland.
Has been present in numerous courses receiving master classes from the very best lute players as: Rolf Lislevand, Robert Barto, Paul O'dette, Hopkinson Smith... as well as chamber music with Vittorio Ghielmi, Paolo Pandolfo, Gabriel Garrido, etc.

He have worked next to the most famous musicians into early music international view as: Furio Zanasi, Nuria Rial, Maria Grazia Schiavo, Vivica Genaux, Mariana Flores, Alfredo Bernardini, Carlos Mena, Marta Almajano, María Espada, Enrico Onofri, Pierre Cao, Diego Fasolis, Pedro Esteban, Fahmi Alqhai, Stephano Barneschi, Adriana Fernández, Antonio Florio, Manfredo Kraemer, Gabriel Garrido, Enrico Casazza, Leonardo García Alarcón, Anne Hallenberg, Mira Glodeanu, Natalie Stutzmann, Patricia Petibon etc.
He´s required to play in numerous festivals and theaters all around the world: Mozart Festival from Galicia, Estella early week, Early music week from Barcelona, Kassel Theater, Freiburg Theater, Aranjuez, Utrecht, festival de Chiquitos (Bolivia), Froville le Romain (Francia), Luxemburgo theater, National auditory (Madrid), Chopin high school music (Varsovia), Milán, París, Tolouse, Lyon, Venecia, Buenos Aires, Teather Kassel, Freiburg Teather, Minnesota…
He has performed a lot of recordings such as Les violes du ciel et de l'enfer next to Academia del Piacere (Fahmi Alqhai), Arde el furor intrépido with Seville Baroque Orchestra (Diego fasolis), Alnbinoni´s Sonata da chiesa opus V with Ad corda (Alessandro Ciccolini, Francesco Varone...) and two recordings as soloist dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach on the baroque lute (by Carpe Diem records) and one reinssance cd with works by Spinacino, Schlick, Attaignant, etc...
